Policies & Procedures

TUITION & FEES

  • Annual Registration Fee: Each family is required to pay a $55 registration fee ($25 for Summer Sessions).
  • Monthly Tuition: Tuition is due by the 1st of each month. A valid credit card must be kept on file for all families for easy auto-pay. A $10 late fee will be applied after the 3rd. Monthly rates are $75 for a 45-minute class, $80 for a 1-hour class, $85 for 1.25 class class, and $90 for 1.5 hour class
  • Payment Methods: We accept cash, checks (payable to “Texas Aces Athletics”), and major credit cards. Please keep a credit card on file for seamless transactions. A $25 fee will be charged for returned checks.

RECITAL & COSTUME INFORMATION

  • Costume Fee: The $100 costume fee per class is non-refundable and must be paid by November 15th to secure your dancer’s recital costume. If enrolling after November 15th, the costume fee will be due upon enrollment. 
  • Recital Fee: A $125 recital fee per student is due by February 1st. This fee covers recital expenses.
  • Dress Rehearsal & Recital: Our annual recital takes place at the PAC in Bastrop, typically in late May or June.

DROP OFF & PICK UP

  • Drop Off: Parents are asked to drop off and pick up students at the front lobby. If you’re running late, please call us at (512) 575-0616.
  • Pick Up Protocol: After class, students will wait inside the lobby or studio. Please inform the teacher of any changes to pick-up arrangements.
  • Contact Information: Ensure your contact details are up to date in your studio account.

GUIDELINES & EXPECTATIONS

  • Parent Observation: We offer a parent observation room where you can comfortably watch your child’s class. Additionally, during our designated Parent Watch Weeks, parents and loved ones are invited into the studio for a closer look at your child’s progress. Be sure to join us during these special times and stay informed by reading our emails and newsletters for important updates.
  • Studio Etiquette: No gum, food, or drinks (except water) are allowed in the studio. Students are expected to be respectful and attentive during class.
  • Dress Code: Please adhere to the dress code, use the restroom before class, and bring only essential items to the studio.
  • Ballet Shoes Ready: If your child is in a combo class, please have them arrive with their ballet shoes already on. You can put their ballet shoes on in the lobby or parent observation room. This helps us start class on time and keeps transitions smooth.
  • Arrival Time: If you arrive early, please keep your child with you in the parent observation room until 5 minutes before class begins. This helps minimize distractions for ongoing classes.
  • Restroom Breaks: Please have your child use the restroom before class starts to avoid interruptions during lesson time.
  • Water Bottles: Don’t forget to send your child with a spill-proof water bottle. We have a refill station available if needed to send your child with a water bottle. We have a refill station available if needed.
  • Make-up Classes: If you miss a class due to illness, travel, or cancellation, you’re eligible for a make-up class within one month. You may attend any age- appropriate class from our schedule. Please notify the office before attending a make-up class.

STUDIO ENVIRONMENT

  • Mutual Respect: We foster an environment of mutual respect among students, teachers, and parents. Disrespectful behavior may result in dismissal from the studio.
  • Jewelry Policy: For safety and to minimize distractions, no jewelry is allowed during class.

CANCELLATIONS

  • Class Discontinuation: To discontinue classes, please notify us in writing before the next tuition billing cycle. Cancellation notices should be emailed to texasacesdance@gmail.com
